Got The Summer Ending Blues… Fall Into These GREAT Shoes

Loeffler Randall Janae Peep-Toe Stretch Pump gives you that high-class animal-skin look with a stretch of flare, literally! Add in the peep-toe, and you’ve got a unique fall style that will turn heads! Check out this great article from Refinery 29′s┬áKristian Laliberte and Loeffler Randall’s “power publicist” Maria Bui, as they show off the street style of the new fall collection.

I am not a huge fan of the whole tassel theme that has recently been seen in women’s shoes, mostly because it reminds me of the loafer boat shoes that my grandfather and father wear. However, I will say that I try to stay open minded, and when I saw these, I fell in love. The unique cut-out design combined with the longer tassels gives these shoes a classy look with a bit of edge – totally me! Nicholas Kirkwood Leather Sandals with Cut-Outs and Tassels is the perfect shoe for work or play! (More to come from this designer – I’m in love with his ENTIRE fall collection.)

Balenciaga’s Platform Loafer Style Wedge is eye-catching. I’m loving all of the wedges this season, but the combination of wedge and loafer was a huge surprise for me. I usually do not like loafers at all (same as tassels, reminds me of my father and grandfather). However, this loafer looks classic and elegant. I think it’s a MUST HAVE for any girls wardrobe. Great for wide-leg pants!

Pedro Garcia Steffi Ankle Boots are one of my very favorites. It looks like these boots were designed for the secret service (the fashionable ones, that is). I love the texture on the boot and the velcro straps (kind of sneaker like!). This is the perfect heel for your rocker outfit. Great with a tight pair of jeans and an oversized t-shirt, or go for a tucked-in, off the shoulder look (like Sandy from Grease!), with a loud belt. Either way, you’ll be rockin and rollin in these awesome boots.

Christian Louboutin Dordogne is the essence of fall school girl, but the perfect piece for any work pant, which is why I’ve picked it. I think you can make this shoe work with almost anything! Pants, pencil skirts, and even leggings! A necessity for the classy working girl. I also adore that peep-toes are perfect in any season (well, almost, might want to avoid the snow!).

Alexander Wang‘s Silver and Black Liu is my go-to party shoe. The unique architecture is what I admire about it. A strappy sandal with a front boot cover. It seems so futuristic. It gives it that GLAM look, without the glitter. The silver and black makes it go with your best little black dress or your favorite mini-dress!

And of course I saved the best for last. I have been searching and searching for a thigh-high boot that is sexy, sleek and doesn’t look exactly like all of the others. Brian Atwood Freedman Strass Thigh High Boot is exactly what I wanted in a boot! I love that he put all of the detail on the heel, and left the calf and thigh area completely clean and chic. Not to mention, I’m totally hooked on the B Brian Atwood collection.

Those boots are GORGEOUS!!! They are literally perfect. I’ve always wanted a pair of thigh high boots (I’m thinking Anne in Devil Wears Prada — amazing!) but I have no idea where I would get to wear them! My town is not super fashionable and it’s tough to pull off some of those looks without looking odd. I LOVE them. Guess I just have to make the occassion to wear them!

I also LOVE those Kirkwoods. I must admit I had never heard of that particular designer but I am definitely going to do some research now. Thanks for the heads up!

I loooove the Balensiage loafer. Those are definitely IN, but unfortunately not yet available in cheaper versions. I hope I soon can find something affordable!
